Equilore Farm is dedicated to the preservation of the Lac La Croix Indian Pony breed and to that end, will give preference to buyers who are equally interested in preservation and working with the breed. Occaisionally, we will have stock better suited to remaining outside the breeding program but until numbers increase greatly, focus and emphasis will be given to breeding stock and breeding stock buyers. Due to current health and financial concerns, as well as space issues, we have to reduce our current herd of 20 to a more managable number.

Born July 1, 2003 - Black Stallion
Shaman is a proven stallion with multiple offspring producing quality that surpasses
his own. He is not saddle broke but has been trailered several times.

OLTSINOLWIN ~ "Mouse"
Born Apr 21, 1998 - Grulla (Blakc Dun) Mare
Mouse is well handled but is a small pony. She would be well suited as a childs pony.
She is trained to ride and has been trailered many times.

KUUNO ~ ["god of ____?" in Objibway] ~ "Kuuno"
Born 1996 - Black Gelding

Kuuno is well put together and needs to be used/ridden/trained.
There is nobody available here to do that. He is a nice riding sized pony at 13.2 hh

SOLD MANITIWIWIN ~ ["character of spirit" in Objibway] ~ "Spirit"
Born May 14, 2002 - Bay Mare
Spirit is saddle broke and has been used for Pony Club and Gymkana as well.
She is bred this year. She has been trailered many times and is a very nice looking,
good-sized mare (can be ridden by alults).

SOLD SASIKIS ~ ["first born" in Objibway] ~ "Sasi"
Born May 29, 2011 - Claybank Dun Mare foal
Sasi has to have her sire confirmed by DNA as she is the product of an unplanned mating.
She has been weaned and is ready to start ground training. She was handled well at birth.

SOLD KITAGOCONS ~ [Objibway for "fawn"] ~ "Zoey"
Born Mar 26, 2008 - Claybank Dun Mare
Zoey had an unplanned "over-the-fence" visit last year and had a foal this spring.
She has been kept "open" this year to give her a chance to finish growing.
She is green broke only and has been trailered many times.

Born July 18, 2003 - Chestnut (Red Dun?) Stallion
Sagin is a proven stallion with multiple offspring.
He is saddle broke and has been trailered several times. He is the only intact son of his castrated sire

Kibbe is sire by Mooke (the first of many to come we hope) and has great promise.
His ground training and leading on a line are well under way.

Born June 20, 2007 - Black Stallion
Madjik is a proven stallion with his first offspring born 2011.
He is not saddle broke but has been trailered several times.

MOSHKAOSSI ~ [Objibway for "bittern"] ~ "Kaos"
Born May 1, 2008 - Bay Stallion
Kaos is being used in 2011 at stud and will produce in 2012.
He is not saddle broke, has been trailered many times and so far is a very easy going boy.

IDANIAN ~ [short "i" DAN yon]
Born May 13, 1999 - Black Stallion
Idanian is a proven stallion with multiple offspring.
He is the only son of his deceased sire. He is an extremely well handled stallion and it shows. He has a genetal injury that is noticable but does not affect his virility.

AKIWIKI ~ ["return to ones homeland" in Objibway] ~ "Kiwi"
Born June 25, 1999 - Black Mare (barren)
Kiwi is no longer able to be part of the breeding program after a disasterous foaling.
She is saddle broke and used a bit-less bridle. She has been trailered many times.

MAAMAKAAJI ~ ["miraculous" - in Objibway] ~ "Tia"
Born April 1, 2010 - Grulla (Black Dun) Filly
Tia is developing very nicely and is undergoing continued ground training.
She is available to be hosted while she continues her training.

HOSTED MISHANONIKIS ~ ["I have many names" in Objibway] ~ "Misha"
Born Aug 19, 2005 - Black Mare
Misha was bred last year but didnt produce. She has been bred again this year.
She is green broke only and has been trailered many times.

Born June 25, 1999 - Dun Mare
Nookauh first foal was last year and she has been bred again this year.
She is green broke only and has been trailered many times.

HOSTED MISKWA MOOKISE ~ ["red dawn" - in Objibway] ~ "Keesa"
Born June 9, 2010 - Red Filly - with flaxen mane and tail
Keesa is developing very nicely, has a very feminine appearance and is undergoing
continued ground training. She has been hosted out to further her training.

Mares "Midnight", "Penny", "Red", "Niblett" are currently being hosted already.
Gelding "Mediwiin" is currently being hosted already.
Stallions "Nimo" and "Chase" are currently being hosted already.
